Most monitor stands are designed to maximize storage or improve ergonomics. This project started with a different question: what if the monitor stand became part of the workspace instead of simply supporting the display? Instead of relying on a single material, the stand combines a 10 mm acrylic panel, chrome-plated precision linear shafts and machined aluminum connectors. The hybrid structure improves rigidity while preserving the clean, lightweight appearance that defines the design. Rather than treating the monitor stand as office equipment, the goal was to create an object that naturally integrates into the workspace. Custom dimensions and personalized acrylic colors allow each piece to complement different desk setups instead of becoming another generic accessory. This is the first iteration of an ongoing project exploring modular acrylic workspace furniture. Future versions will continue refining the structure, materials, surface finishes and customization possibilities.

Versions
This is an early prototype created to validate the structural concept, material combination and overall design language. The current prototype focuses on the core structure and visual direction. Future production versions will feature refined hardware, improved surface finishing, additional color options and more customization possibilities. Feedback on proportions, material choices, structural details and overall aesthetics is greatly appreciated.
